Saturday 23rd 10-1….. Sally Lewis will be doing a demo with Quilters Grid. Sally will be showing us how to use it and will be delivering several designs for you to choose from. Every member will receive a 12 inch square to work on. Please bring fat quarters, sewing machines and general sewing kit.

Tuesday 6th. Invite to come to Sing Plus today at 10am to make quilts for Ukrainian Children staying in Sefton. This is a joint project with Cathy Morris and the Waterloo Quilters. We have been funded by Sefton CVS and have bought wadding and backing fabric but need volunteers to piece the tops.
Sing Plus have given us the room for the morning. If you are able to come please bring usual sewing kit and 5 inch square’s of plain or patterned fabric. We will be making 9 patch blocks so need a good mix of fabric’s.
Waterloo Quilter’s will be joining in from 1pm until 4pm, so please drop in even for an hour during the day.
If you don’t want to join in there will be space to bring your own projects.

Saturday 24th 10-1….. Workshop run by Lynn Chute making a cone shaped Father Christmas.
Requirements..
Fat Quarter for beard, moustache and hat trim.
Pink felt for face (or preferred colour).
Red Embroidery thread.
1. Red Bead for nose, approx 5mm.
2 or 3 Small red buttons
Cereal box for base support (pritt stick glue or similar).
Small piece of bondaweb.
Lynn has a A4 piece of pink felt and is happy for people to use as only a small piece is needed for each Santa.

Saturday 22nd 10-1pm.  Pleased to be welcoming Chris Bennett this session who will be talking on working with stripes.

Tuesday 1st 1-4pm Syringe Driver Bags and Hearts lead by Paula.
Saturday 12th 10 – 14.30. Doughty’s Fabric Roadshow at Sing Centre, Cambridge Road, Waterloo, Liverpool. We will be running a coffee shop so some cakes needed please.
Saturday 19th 10-1pm. Laurel has many squares left for the Ukrainian drive, we would like to use them for more tops.
